Back in the day, I used to struggle with anxiety and panic attacks. I left my family home without a sense of security. My life was led by fear. I projected my fears into my relationships, friendships, and work. My mind was often racing at night, keeping me awake for hours. I had social anxiety, which made it difficult for me to make new friends. I had big dreams but very little courage to pursue them. I remember a day in my life when I told myself, "Enough." There was more "existing" than actually "living" in my life. I made a decision to do anything in my life that I was afraid of, which led me to bungee jumping. It was an important moment in my life because I proved to myself that even though I was really afraid to do it, I could do it anyway. I started challenging myself more and more. I went to Germany for a holiday job during my studies and to Italy for a one-year student exchange in Pisa. I parachuted there. Later, I started taking risks. I moved to Luxembourg for a job in finance and stayed there for five years. I felt deep inside that it wasn’t the right career path for me, but I lacked the confidence to make a change. Then, I experienced professional burnout, and I knew it was the moment to focus on myself. I went on a year-long trip around Southeast Asia. Stretching my comfort zone changed my life, but I noticed the biggest shifts when I started working on my mind.

I understood that I needed to take responsibility for my life and my emotions, and I couldn’t blame my family anymore. I started working with emotional release and somatic symptoms of trauma in the body. When I came to the Buddhist temple in Thailand in 2022, I felt very overwhelmed. I was traveling alone for a year, far away from my family and friends, constantly changing places and meeting new people. Under the guidance of monks, I found true peace and happiness. It was actually the first time I was so deeply calm, as if nothing else existed. I understood how the mind and body work together and that all the peace and comfort I was looking for from my family, friends, and relationships was there within me. This sense of security gave me the feeling that I could deal with any challenge in my life. Later, I found the teachings of Dr. David Hawkins, and I understood that I could let go of any emotions and feelings with my intention and choose love. For years I was looking to boost my confidence, but nothing worked long-term. Finally, I found the answer—letting go of any emotions standing in the way of peace and love. That’s when everything clicked.

At the moment, I lead a local mindfulness workshop, "Quiet Your Mind," and local "Think Like a Monk" training about emotional regulation and release. I have a job that I love, and I live according to my own values.

my passion

From a small child I was very curious. I watched National Geographic and Discovery in the TV, instead of the cartoons (although Disney movies will always be in my heart). So far, I visited 30 countries around the world. I love meeting new people, exchanging experiences and learning about cultures.

Chocolate, books and coffee. A coffee in the morning is my small ritual that I cherish a lot. I love the smell of the coffee (a cup of a cappuccino is my fave) and feeding my chocolate addiction. I enjoy reading books, especially psychological ones. I am fascinated about the human mind and that's one of my favorite topics.

My sanctuary

Italy stole my heart. I love it for its diversity, art, beautiful small villages, a delicious coffee for 1 eur around the corner, the best cannolli in the south (yesss, I am a foodie)... and the sun all around the year.
